'Brisk'...a 4 ply Possum moss stitch cowl
This is a free pattern with purchase of the accompanying wool. Please only select 'buy now' if you have also added the relevant wool to your knitting basket.
Moss stitch is a classic combination of 'knit' and 'purl' stitches, which creates a simple yet sophisticated pattern. This cowl takes just one hank of 4ply Naturally Amuri - Possum and Merino blend, and uses 3.75mm needles. The use of slightly bigger needles than those traditionally used for 4ply knitting gives the yarn space to 'breathe', and within a short space of time the Possum rises to the surface giving the cowl a beautiful sheen.
Knitted as a rectangle, simply rotate your work 180 degrees once complete and sew the short ends together to form a mobius with an elegant drape
- Yarn: One hank 4ply Naturally Amuri or one hank of Touch Yarns Possum
- Needles: 3.75mm
- Sample Colour: Jewel Red (col 4052)
