My husband abhors me sticking my cold feet anywhere close to him in bed. I can genuinely believe that my hot water bottle, dressed in a super smart cover, is literally a marriage saver!

The simple humble hand knitted hot water bottle cover is one of my favourite winter knits, along with a frivolous and fun tea cosy and a characterful pair of woollen socks.
