Butterfly Patterned Dress Knitting Pattern (6763)
Beautiful butterfly-patterned dress with charming contrasting colour for the neck, sleeve bands and hem. Styled for DMC's 100% Baby Cotton, this design will fit babies from newborn through to 3 years.
Uses the soft and gentle, French DMC Baby Cotton or any suitable double knit or 8-ply yarn.
Rated "medium" skill level. Butterfly pattern instructions are written only. Contains 4 sizes for under 3-year-olds.
Knits to a gauge 22sts x 30 rows to 10cm, over butterfly pattern using 4mm needles, and 22sts x 28 rows, over stocking stitch using 4mm needles. Be sure to check your gauge to ensure correct fit and quantity of yarn.
Uses 4-6 x 50g balls of DMC Baby Cotton total in 2 colours (depending on size). Contrast colour is just 1 x 50g ball for all sizes. Images shown in Main Colour 769 Dusty Rose and Contrast edging in 757 Silver.
Needles: 4mm and 3.25mm or as required for gauge. Also requires Stitch holders and 4 Buttons
