'Top and Tail' Bootee and Beanie Set Knitting Pattern

These adorable little bootees will keep your precious babies feet toasty warm. Lined with sheepskin soles and knitted in our very best New Zealand merino wool.

The matching beanie has a deep brim that can be pulled down over little ears or, alternatively, turned back to beautifully frame your babies face.

Decorative buttons, some delicate embroidery of a cheeky fluffy pom pom can be added to make your handiwork extra cute.

Size: approximately new-born to 6 months, 6 months to a year, 1 to 2 years.

• Yarn: Nordica pure merino, Chaska Baby Alpaca or Lammermoor Organic Merino. You will need  a ball in shade A and a ball in shade B. There is enough wool for the bootees and the beanie. You'll also need a set of our Sheepskin soles Our  sample set uses Nordica Antique Rose and Mushroom.
• Needles: 3.25mm and 4 mm bamboo needles. (bamboo needles are way nicer to work on than metal or plastic) A knitters needle for sewing up your work.
• To top off your masterpiece: Handmade Sheep Buttons, a Beatrix Potter pom pom or a Little Kiwi Possum Pom Pom.
