Zipper Sweater Light – Man

The Zipper Sweater Light – Man is worked seamlessly from the top down, creating a modern everyday sweater with a classic raglan fit and practical zip collar. The folded collar and concealed zipper facing provide a clean, professional finish inside and out.

The collar is worked first in rib, folded double and knitted together. The yoke is then shaped with raglan increases, beginning flat to create the front zipper opening before joining to work the remainder of the yoke in the round. Once the yoke is complete, the body and sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round.

To finish, a zipper facing is worked from resting stitches and the zipper is sewn neatly between the two knitted layers, creating a polished finish on both the right and wrong sides.

The Zipper Sweater Light – Man is designed with approx. 20 cm of positive ease.

Before beginning your project, knit a swatch to ensure you achieve the correct gauge after washing and blocking.
