Frequently asked questions
Are the button sizes the same as the adult pattern?
The junior version specifies four buttons measuring 15–18 mm. The adult and chunky adult versions specify 20 mm buttons.
Why are there two gauges?
The main fabric uses 20 stitches × 30 rows per 10 cm; the double-knitted side edges use 23 stitches × 30 rows. Check both to keep the body and buttoned edges in proportion.
Can I use the same metre amount for Peer Gynt and Double Sunday?
Use the column for your chosen yarn. The designer gives separate quantities for those two single-strand options, and they are not interchangeable.
