Frequently asked questions
Does Baby use the same yarn and gauge as Otto Junior?
No. Baby uses a finer 28-stitch gauge on 3 mm needles, with single-strand Sunday as the stocked designer option. Junior has its own 18-stitch gauge and quantities.
Why are the main and stripe metres different?
The designer specifies separate consumption for each colour. For 0–3 months, allow 226 m main colour and 160 m stripe colour, rounded up to whole metres.
Are the Baby lengths measured including the neckband?
No. Length is measured at mid back excluding the folded neck edge. Compare the 50 cm finished chest and 28 cm body length for 0–3 months with a well-fitting garment.
