Stocked designer-recommended yarn
Choose Sandnes Garn Sunday or Sandnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt. Knit with one strand of the chosen yarn.
Metre requirements below are converted from the designer’s stated quantities using Sandnes Garn Sunday: 235 m per 50 g, Sandnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt: 205 m per 50 g. Colour allocations are approximate; values are rounded up to whole metres where needed. Allow for swatching, any length changes and whole-ball purchasing.
The stripe and sleeve quantities are for each of two colours. Plan both colours separately; the other columns are for the stated component.

Frequently asked questions
Is Holger Shirt finer than Holger Sweater?
Yes. Shirt uses a 28-stitch gauge on 3 mm needles; Holger Sweater uses 20 stitches on 4 mm needles. They are separate patterns, not the same fabric in different colours.
How many colours are used in the body stripes?
Two. The six colour roles cover those two stripes, the body hem, two contrasting sleeves and the neck edge. Each stripe and sleeve column is for one colour, not the pair.
