Knit Vanessa Coscarelli Black’s Paris Scarf in Amano Duna 4ply. Cables and lace flow into ruffled ends in this intermediate project, worked flat in one piece. The finished scarf measures approximately 25 × 173 cm after wet blocking.
Kit contents
- Three 50 g balls of Amano Duna in your selected shade (200 m per ball; 600 m total)
- Printed Paris Scarf knitting pattern
- The “With Needles” option also includes 4.00 mm bamboo straight knitting needles and a set of cable needles. The “Without Needles” option contains yarn and pattern only.
Amano Duna is 60% organic cotton and 40% alpaca. The sample pattern uses colour 2607; your selected kit shade may differ.
Size and tension
One size. Finished measurement: approximately 25 × 173 cm. Pattern tension is 25 stitches and 26 rows over 10.2 cm in the repeating stitch pattern after wet blocking, using 4.00 mm needles or the size needed to obtain tension.
Tools and finishing
You will need a darning needle, blocking boards and pins. A cable needle is required and is included in the “With Needles” option. Check tension, follow the printed instructions for the lace and cable repeats, then wet block to the stated size.
