Cumulus Tee O-Neck Knit Kit – Tynn Line
Knit a light summer tee with a round neckline, elbow-length sleeves and neat i-cord edges. This PetiteKnit design is worked from the top down in one strand of Sandnes Garn Tynn Line, a soft cotton, viscose and linen blend with a gentle drape.
Skill level and techniques
Intermediate. Techniques include knitting stocking stitch flat and in the round, raglan and neckline increases, sleeve decreases, picking up stitches and i-cord finishing. Join the i-cord ends and weave in loose ends to finish.

Designed for approximately 4 cm of positive ease. Compare your bust measurement with the finished bust below. Length is measured at the centre back. Sizes using the same yarn quantity share a kit option.

Work with one strand. Extra length or changes to gauge may require additional yarn.
Gauge, needles and notions
28 stitches × 40 rows in stocking stitch = 10 × 10 cm after washing and blocking, using 3 mm needles or the size needed to achieve gauge.
You will need 3 mm circular needles in 60, 80 and/or 100 cm lengths; 2.5 mm circular needles in 40 and 80 cm lengths; and 3 mm and 2.5 mm double-pointed needles or suitable circular needles for Magic Loop. The neckline instructions also refer to a 2.5 mm, 60 cm circular needle. Have stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders, and a tapestry needle ready.
Yarn and care
Tynn Line contains 53% cotton, 33% viscose and 14% linen. Wash separately, follow the yarn label, and dry flat. Do not tumble dry. Wash and dry a tension square before choosing your final needle size.

How does this differ from the original Cumulus Tee?
This version has a round neckline. Its measurements and yarn requirements differ from the V-neck version, so use the O-Neck pattern and the size table above.
Is the pattern printed or digital?
One English printed pattern is included and packed with your yarn. This is a knitting kit, not a finished garment.
Why are sizes grouped together?
These sizes require the same kit contents. The kit supplies one garment in your chosen pattern size.
Can I make the tee longer?
Yes, but you may need extra yarn. Arrange enough in the same dye lot before starting.
