Jenny Jacket — PetiteKnit knitting pattern
A button-front smock cardigan worked from the bottom up. Knit the body flat and sleeves in the round, then join them for the yoke. Short rows shape the upper neckline; pick up the button bands and neck edge at the end.

Size and fit
Approximately 12–15 cm of positive ease. At a 90 cm bust, size S finishes at 102 cm. The designer recommends the smaller size if you fall between sizes, as the smock fabric grows with wear.

Gauge, needles and materials
Gauge: 30 stitches × 25–26 rows in smock pattern on 4 mm needles, after washing and blocking = 10 × 10 cm.
Rib gauge: 28 stitches × 27 rows in rib on 3.5 mm needles, after washing and blocking = 10 × 10 cm.
Needles: 3.5 mm and 4 mm circulars: 60, 80 and 100 or 120 cm; 3.5 mm and 4 mm double-pointed needles, unless using Magic Loop.
