Frequently asked questions
Does Key Sweater Man need a mohair strand?
No. The designer’s stocked Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt option is knitted single stranded, unlike the adult Key Sweater at the coarser 18-stitch gauge.
Does this version have the same oversized fit as Key Sweater?
Key Sweater Man is designed with approximately 10 cm of positive ease rather than the adult Key Sweater’s approximately 25 cm. Compare the finished chest measurements for the fit you want.
Are the two colour columns added together when buying yarn?
Buy the listed metres in each colour separately. Each column is for one colour of the same single-strand yarn; the main and stripe allowances are not interchangeable.
