Frequently asked questions
Can I knit this with or without a mohair companion?
Yes. The stocked designer choices are single-strand Peer Gynt, or one strand of Tynn Peer Gynt held with one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair. Use the matching table for the option you choose.
Are the sides fully sewn closed?
No. The double-knitted side edges fasten with two buttons on each side and form slits towards the hem, beneath the deep armholes.
How does the chunky edition differ?
The chunky edition has a 17-stitch main gauge and different finished measurements. This regular version uses 20 stitches × 30 rows, with its own yarn requirements.
