Moby Sweater Junior — PetiteKnit knitting pattern
A top-down sweater with texture and cable panels. Short rows shape the back yoke and shoulder slope, then stitches are picked up for the shoulders and front. Work the body and sleeves in the round and finish with a folded ribbed neckline.

Gauge, needles and materials
Gauge: 20 stitches × 28 rows in the texture pattern on 4 mm needles, after washing and blocking = 10 × 10 cm.
Needles: 4 mm and 3.5 mm circulars: 60 or 80 cm; 3 mm circular: 40 cm; 3.5 mm and 4 mm double-pointed needles; cable needle.
Thin elastic thread for the neck edge.

Frequently asked questions
Why do some Junior ages have the same chest size?
The 7–8 and 8–9 sizes both measure 88 cm around but have different lengths; the 9–10 and 10–12 sizes both measure 92 cm. Compare both measurements.
Is mohair needed with Peer Gynt?
No. Peer Gynt is the single-strand option. The other designer option pairs one strand of Double Sunday with one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair.
