Equivalent-metre substitution estimates, not confirmed designer consumption. Sunday retains the original main-yarn lengths, calculated from the XS–5XL edition’s quantities at 255 m per 50 g. Mohair retains the original component lengths calculated at 212 m per 25 g. Current stocked lengths are Sunday 235 m per 50 g and Tynn Silk Mohair 212 m per 25 g; use the metres shown rather than copying the original main-yarn weights.
Wash and block a swatch before measuring. Match stitch and row gauge and check the fabric; adjust needle size as needed. Round up to complete sale units and allow extra for swatching or changes in length.
Frequently asked questions
Which October Sweater edition does this listing cover?
The XS–5XL English edition held by Wild & Woolly. Its measurements match the authorised pattern PDF; the newer XXS size on the designer website is not included in this edition.
Does the length include the folded neck edge?
Yes. The mid-back length includes the neck edge. For size S, the finished chest is 120 cm and length is 70 cm.
How oversized is October Sweater?
The intended positive ease is approximately 30 cm. For a 90 cm bust, size S gives 30 cm of room; compare the finished measurements before choosing a size.
Should I use the original main-yarn weights for Sunday?
Use the estimated Sunday metres in the table instead. Sunday has 235 m per 50 g, so the original yarn’s weights are not interchangeable. Hold it with one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair and check a washed and blocked swatch at 21 stitches × 28 rows per 10 × 10 cm.
