Knit a matching baby tunic and bonnet in 4ply yarn. The tunic has a gently flared body, short raglan sleeves and a buttoned shoulder opening, while the bonnet finishes with a buttoned strap.
Pattern Format: 📥📬 Available as Digital Download or Printed Copy (choose option below). This is a Naturally knitting pattern; yarn, needles and the finished item are not included.
Construction and Skill Guidance
The tunic’s front, back and sleeves are worked flat, then joined along the raglan seams. The upper left-front raglan seam stays open for the button band. The bonnet is worked flat with a shaped crown, a back seam and a separately knitted strap.
Suggested skill level: Intermediate. You’ll shape the body and raglans, pick up neckline and opening stitches, work buttonholes and sew seams.
