NATURALLY K475 GARTER-STITCH JACKET & HAT KNITTING PATTERN

A warm garter-stitch jacket and matching hat for babies and young children, with six sizes from newborn to 3–4 years.

Pattern overview: The jacket is knitted flat in one piece, beginning at the lower back. Stitches are cast on for the sleeves, the work divides at the neck, and each front is completed before the side and sleeve seams are joined. The collar is picked up and shaped separately. The hat is knitted flat in alternating garter and stocking-stitch bands, crown-shaped and seamed. A confident-beginner to intermediate project with garment shaping, buttonholes and finishing.
