NATURALLY K505 GARTER-STITCH JACKET & HAT KNITTING PATTERN
A cosy baby and toddler garter-stitch jacket with a matching hat and very little garment assembly.
Pattern overview: The jacket is knitted flat in one piece from the lower back. Stitches are cast on for the sleeves, then the work divides at the neck and each front is completed separately. Buttonholes can be placed on either front for the preferred fastening direction. A simple neck edging and the side and sleeve seams complete the jacket. The hat is knitted flat in garter stitch and seamed. A confident-beginner project for knitters comfortable with increasing, decreasing, buttonholes and basic finishing.
