Converted at 110 m per 50 g. The table gives the combined total for both strands; do not double it again. For long sleeves add approximately 440 m of Line in total. The original 250–500 g short-sleeve quantities are retained, including size ranges.
The designer notes approximately 13 stitches per 10 cm before washing/wear, growing to the required 12 stitches afterwards. Wash, block and assess the fabric before choosing your final needle size.
Allow extra for swatching or changes in length and round up to complete sale units. Adjust needle size as needed to match both stitch and row gauge.
Frequently asked questions
Why should I wash the Wave Tee swatch?
The designer warns that the recommended fabric stretches with washing and wear: approximately 13 stitches over 10 cm before washing becomes the required 12 stitches afterwards. Check the finished swatch rather than relying only on the unwashed measurement.
Should I double the Line metres?
No. Line is held double, but the table already gives the combined total for both strands. Do not multiply it again.
How much more Line do long sleeves need?
Add approximately 440 m of Line to the short-sleeve table. This is the combined extra allowance for both working strands, converted from the designer’s additional quantity.
