Frequently asked questions
Why is the finished Emmy Top smaller than my bust?
It is designed for negative ease. For example, a 90 cm bust corresponds to size S with an 82 cm finished circumference.
How are the Emmy Top straps attached?
The straps are worked in double knitting, then grafted to the back with Kitchener stitch.
Should I measure my swatch before or after washing?
After washing. The designer notes that the yarn can grow with washing and wear, and the top may gain a couple of centimetres.
