Designer: The Kiwi Stitch & Knit Co. This purchase is a knitting pattern; yarn, needles, accessories and finished items are not included.
Construction

Yarn choices
Use a lightweight 8ply yarn, worked single-stranded. The original allowance is 100 m for the pair. Swatch before substituting, as these mitts will stretch with wear.
Size and yarn requirements
| Length with rolled edges (cm) | Lightweight 8ply yarn (m) |
|---|---|

Metre allowances are approximate. Where the original gives purchasing quantities rather than used metres, these have been converted using its stated yarn length. Swatch, wash and block before starting; allow extra for length changes and differences in tension.
Tension
22 stitches and 32 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch.
Needles and notions
3.5 mm needles and a wool needle for finishing; use 3.25 mm if needed for a firmer fabric.
