Alpaca Air Shrug Knit Kit
Alpaca Air Shrug Knit Kit
Knit a light, soft layer in Chaska Alpaca Air 12ply. The Naturally N1540 shrug is worked from cuff to cuff in one piece, with ribbed cuffs and simple shaping through the sleeves.
About the pattern
Work the first cuff and sleeve, then the body, second sleeve and cuff. Sew the sleeve and cuff seams to finish. The pattern offers four sizes by intended bust measurement. Check the finished dimensions below before choosing your size.

Choosing your kit size: The 76–81 cm and 86–91 cm pattern sizes both use 600 m, so they share the “76–81 cm or 86–91 cm” kit option. It supplies yarn for one shrug in your chosen colour. Follow the separate instructions for your actual pattern size; the finished measurements for each are shown above. The 96–102 cm kit supplies 700 m and the 107–112 cm kit supplies 800 m.
The kit uses one strand of Chaska Alpaca Air 12ply in your chosen colour. Each 50 g ball supplies 100 m. The yarn is 80% baby alpaca and 20% acrylic.

Target tension is 16 stitches and 22 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch on 5.5 mm needles. You will also need a pair of 5 mm straight needles for the cuffs, 5.5 mm straight needles for the body and stitch markers. Work a washed tension square before starting. Needles and markers are separate from the kit.
