Needle Sizes

  • 4.00mm (UK 8) circular needles in 30cm, 40cm, and 60cm lengths.
  • 3.25mm (UK 10) circular needles in 30cm and 40cm lengths.
  • Double-pointed needles (DPNs) can be substituted for 30cm length circular needles for small circumference knitting.
  • 4 stitch markers (including 1 to use as the start of the round marker).
  • Darning needle.
  • Waste yarn.

Instructions Overview

  • Sweater: The sweater is worked top-down, beginning with flat short rows for the yoke before joining in the round. The body is worked in the round, followed by the sleeves, which are picked up and knitted in the round.
  • Lower Band: The lower band is worked in ribbing to match the cuffs and neckline.
  • Neckband: The neckband is picked up and knitted in ribbing, providing a snug fit.
