Crochet Socks & Handwarmers Pattern (AP2808)
Create a cosy matching set of crochet socks and handwarmers using UK crochet terms. The socks are worked from the toe up in the round with a patterned leg, heel opening, ribbed cuff, and shaped heel. The handwarmers begin at the wrist with ribbing, then continue in the round with a simple alternating stitch pattern and a shaped thumb opening. Designed for an intermediate crocheter.
Tension: 28 sts to 10cm in width over pattern, using a 3mm crochet hook. (These socks are worked on a smaller hook and a firmer tension than normally recommended.)
