Cosy Basic Alpaca Socks Knitting Pattern
A timeless pair of cuff-down socks with contrasting cuffs, heels and toes for a classic handmade look. Designed by Debra Kinsey Knits, this versatile pattern combines everyday comfort with durable construction, making it an excellent choice for both solid and contrast colour combinations.
Worked seamlessly in the round from the cuff down, the socks feature a traditional heel flap and gusset for a comfortable fit, followed by a neatly shaped toe finished with Kitchener stitch grafting. The pattern includes three sizes and offers guidance for adjusting the leg length to suit your preferred fit.
Photographed in Alpaca Yarns Sox Easy Wash, a soft, machine washable alpaca blend with added nylon for durability and excellent stitch definition.
