Construction
Worked flat and joined to form the cocoon, with a button opening along the front.
Yarn choices
Use single-strand 10ply yarn. The original metre allowances are 400 m and 480 m. Ask us to help match a yarn with the appropriate fabric and drape rather than substituting by weight alone.

Tension
The source pattern does not state a numerical tension. Swatch with your chosen 10ply yarn and check the finished dimensions.
Needles and notions
4.5 mm needles and 5 buttons for the shorter version or 6 for the longer version; buttons are 18 mm.
