Bea Top

The Bea Top is worked from the bottom up in smooth stockinette stitch, creating a simple and elegant sleeveless top with a flattering boat neckline. Held with two strands of yarn throughout, the fabric has beautiful drape and makes an ideal layering piece for warmer weather.

The body is worked seamlessly in the round to the underarms before the work is divided for the front and back yokes. Each yoke is then worked flat with decreases along both sides to shape the armholes. Short rows shape the shoulders and create the elegant boat neckline.

The clean construction and minimal finishing make this a rewarding project with a polished, modern finish.

The Bea Top is designed with approx. 8 cm of negative ease for a close-fitting silhouette.

Before beginning your project, knit a swatch to ensure you achieve the correct gauge. Wash and block your swatch before measuring, as the fabric may grow slightly after washing and with wear.
