Lisa's family matinee-jacket design is named after her mother, Carol. Worked from the lower edge upwards, Carolyn has a delicate lace yoke and options for 3ply and 4ply yarn.

Pattern details

  • Yarn weight: 3ply / 4ply
  • Sizing: 3ply: 0–3 months, to fit 35 cm, finished chest 46 cm. 4ply: 3–6 months, to fit 40 cm, finished chest 53 cm.
  • Yarn requirements: 2 × 50g balls Dreamtime Merino 3ply or Eternity 4ply.
  • Needles and notions: 3ply: 2.5 mm and 3 mm. 4ply: 2.75 mm and 3.25 mm. Stitch holders and 3 buttons.
  • Tension: 3ply: 32 stitches × 40 rows. 4ply: 28 stitches × 36 rows. Both over 10 cm in stocking stitch.
