Classic Socks Knitting Pattern
Knit a dependable pair of classic socks with Ngaire Brooks’ pattern for 4ply sock yarn and 2.25 mm Addi CraSyTrio needles. Work from the cuff down, with a ribbed cuff, stocking stitch leg and foot, a slipped-stitch heel flap and turn, gusset shaping and a grafted toe. Choose your preferred leg and foot lengths as you go.

Yarn, needles and tension
- Yarn: Approximately 400 metres of 4ply sock yarn, normally 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon or polyamide.
- Needles: 2.25 mm Addi CraSyTrio sock needles.
- Notion: Tapestry needle.
- Tension: 32 stitches to 10 cm over stocking stitch on 2.25 mm needles.
The pattern includes instructions for the heel, gusset and toe, plus a QR code for supporting videos. Yarn and needles are sold separately.
