Meet Duo: the perfect balance of softness, breathability, and gentle warmth. This beautiful blend of merino wool and cotton is designed for year-round comfort — ideal for knitters who love the feel of wool but find traditional wool yarns a little too scratchy.

By combining smooth cotton with fine merino wool, Duo gives you the best of both fibres. The cotton keeps the yarn light, soft, and comfortable against the skin, while the merino adds elasticity, insulation, and that lovely resilience that pure cotton often lacks. The result? A yarn that holds its shape beautifully, feels soft to wear, and works across seasons.

Whether you're knitting everyday sweaters, children’s garments, layering pieces, or lightweight accessories, Duo creates a fabric that’s breathable yet cosy — structured yet soft.

Why you’ll love it

• Soft and comfortable against the skin
• Ideal for those sensitive to traditional wool
• Breathable cotton blended with insulating merino
• More elastic and lightweight than pure cotton
• Excellent stitch definition
• Comfortable for year-round wear

Care Instructions

For best results, machine wash wool garments separately on a dedicated wool programme to ensure the gentlest treatment.

Because merino wool is highly absorbent, we recommend spinning garments well before drying. Lay flat to dry, preferably on top of a towel to help absorb excess moisture.

Avoid washing hand-knitted wool garments in a laundry bag, as this can create friction and lead to felting.
