Please follow the pattern instructions using one strand of Line 8ply only. There is no need to hold the yarn double.

Important Yarn Substitution Note

The original Ivy Top pattern is designed using two strands of Sandnes Garn Tynn Line held together.

In this Wild and Woolly Yarns kit, we have substituted the two strands of Tynn Line with one strand of Sandnes Garn Line 8ply to make the project simpler and more enjoyable to knit.

When working from the pattern:

• Use one strand of Sandnes Garn Line 8ply.

• Do not hold the yarn double.

• Follow the pattern instructions and tension requirements as written.

• Use the Line 8ply yarn supplied in your kit.

The kit includes the correct quantity of Sandnes Garn Line for your selected size.

About the Ivy Top Pattern

The Ivy Top is worked seamlessly from the top down. The shoulders are shaped using increases and German short rows before the front and back yokes are worked separately. Once joined, the body is knitted in the round to create a smooth, elegant silhouette with clean finishing throughout.

The finished fabric softens further after washing while retaining its polished appearance.

Each 50 g ball contains approximately 110 metres.

Although the original PetiteKnit pattern specifies two strands of Tynn Line held together, this kit is designed to be knitted with one strand of Sandnes Garn Line 8ply only.

• 4 mm circular knitting needles in suitable cable lengths, such as 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and/or 100 cm

Tension

20 stitches × 28 rows = 10 cm in stocking stitch using 4 mm needles after washing and blocking.
