• Armhole Shaping: Shaping is achieved through a series of decreases near the armholes.
• Neckline: The back and front necklines are shaped by casting off stitches and working decreases.

Finishing

• Seams: Join the shoulder and side seams using mattress stitch for a neat finish.
• Blocking: Block the top to the correct measurements to smooth the stitches and shape the garment.
