Niels Sweater Knitting Pattern - PetiteKnit

Niels Sweater
The Niels Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, creating a classic, comfortable sweater with clean lines and a timeless silhouette. A folded double-knit neckline and set-in shoulder construction give the sweater a polished finish that is enjoyable to knit and wear.
The back yoke is worked first using short rows to shape the shoulders before increases form the upper back. Stitches are then picked up along the back to work each shoulder separately. Additional stitches are picked up along the shoulders before the front and back are joined, allowing the remainder of the yoke to be worked seamlessly in the round. The body is worked in the round, while the sleeves are worked in the round using either double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop method.
A folded ribbed neckline finished with double knitting completes the sweater with a refined, professional look.
The Niels Sweater is designed with approx. 10 cm of positive ease. Choose the size based on your actual chest measurement for the intended fit.
