About the Pattern
The jacket back, fronts and sleeves are knitted flat and sewn together. Work the front bands with the fronts, then continue the held band stitches for the neckband, joining at the back and sewing it in place. The hat is knitted flat with crown shaping and a back seam. Work with one strand throughout.
Skill Level
Intermediate. You should be comfortable with knit and purl stitches, shaping, buttonholes, holding stitches and sewing seams.

Yarn Included
Matching yarn quantities are combined into four kit options. Follow the individual size in the printed pattern. Each kit supplies enough buttons for the larger size in its group; the newborn and 12–18 month sizes leave two spare buttons. Work with one strand throughout. Total metres cover one jacket and one hat.

Yarn Information
Bio Bimbo is 100% organic cotton 4ply, with 180 metres per 50 g. Choose a printed shade for changing colour through the fabric; the placement of colours varies with size and knitting. Follow the care instructions on the ball band and dry finished pieces flat.
Tension / Gauge
28 stitches and 36 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch on 3.25 mm needles. Make, wash and dry a tension square before starting; change needle size if needed.
Needles and Notions
You will need 2.75 mm and 3.25 mm knitting needles, stitch holders, stitch markers and a sewing needle. Needles and these tools are not included.
