This blanket it the perfect project for the new, nervous, or lapsed knitter and has been especially popular with our mums-to-be due to its simple and contemporary look, it's perfect for a bassinet or a baby car seat.
As per our shop motto, this blanket really does keep the knitting simple and lets the wool speak for itself. Using the 2 basic stitches of knit and purl and the most glorious merino wool, this project ticks all the boxes. It's easy to knit, the luxurious wool gives a beautiful stitch definition, and the bold blocks of colour mean you can have a great deal of fun choosing your shades. As an added bonus the wool is also machine washable.
- Yarn: 7 balls of Nordica 8ply two balls each of colour A, B and C, and one ball of colour D. Our sample uses the shades of Antique Rose, Mushroom, Branches and Snowdrop.
- Needles: 4mm needles
