Anker’s Sweater – My Size
Anker’s Sweater – My Size is worked seamlessly from the top down. The design features a structured yet simple silhouette, making it ideal for everyday wear while highlighting clean lines and classic knitting techniques.
The sweater begins at the neckline, where the yoke is worked in sections of rib with increases worked evenly in the round. Once the ribbed yoke is complete, the work transitions into stockinette stitch, where classic raglan increases shape the upper body. The body is then worked straight to the desired length.
The sleeves are placed on hold while the body is completed, then worked in the round at the end either using double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop technique. The sweater requires no finishing beyond weaving in ends.
The sweater is designed to have approx. 6–10 cm of positive ease in smaller sizes, gradually decreasing in larger sizes to ensure a balanced fit across the size range.
Before beginning your project, knit a swatch to ensure you meet the required gauge. This will help achieve the intended fit and fabric structure.
