Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to knit the Beginner’s Jacket sleeves in the round?
No. The jacket is worked from the top down in garter stitch, back and forth. The sleeves are also worked flat and sewn together at the end.
Is the Beginner’s Jacket suitable for a first cardigan project?
PetiteKnit rates it 1 out of 5 for difficulty and provides technique videos. It is a useful introduction to a top-down yoke, separating sleeves from the body and simple sleeve seams.
