Frequently asked questions
Do I combine Peer Gynt and Double Sunday for Esther Sweater Junior?
No. Choose one yarn and knit it single-stranded. The two table columns show alternative requirements.
Which size suits a child with a 56 cm chest?
The designer’s example uses size 3–4 years: a 77 cm finished chest gives 21 cm of positive ease. Adjust length if the child’s height differs from the age guide.
Why do both stitch and row gauge matter?
The textured pattern’s dimensions depend on both. Wash and block a charted swatch before measuring 20 stitches and 30 rows per 10 cm.
