Jenny Blouse Knitting Pattern - PetiteKnit
📬 Printed Booklet (Posted to You)
Jenny Blouse
The Jenny Blouse is worked from the top down.
First, the back yoke is worked back and forth in the smock pattern with short rows. Stitches are then picked up along the top of the back yoke and the shoulders are worked from these stitches, also shaped with short rows.
The body is worked in the round on a circular needle. Sleeves are worked in the round in the smock pattern, with instructions included for working them with or without decreases. At the end, stitches are picked up and knitted to create the folded neck edge.
Knit a swatch before beginning your project to check your gauge. Be sure to wash and block the swatch before measuring.
The Jenny Blouse is designed to have approx. 8 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 8 cm larger than your chest measurement.
