Jacket & Hat Knitting Pattern – K433
A cosy baby-to-preschool set with a buttoned jacket, neat garter-stitch trims and a matching shaped hat. The original pattern uses Naturally Lammermoor Organic DK/8ply and is worked flat in pieces.

Construction and skill level
The back, fronts and sleeves are knitted flat, with the collar worked from the neckline and the pieces seamed. The hat is knitted flat, crown-shaped and joined at the back. Best suited to an intermediate knitter comfortable with shaping, picking up stitches, buttonholes and seaming.
Needles, notions and gauge
- 3.75 mm and 4 mm straight needles
