Alice Top by PetiteKnit is a sleeveless V-neck knitting pattern with broad shoulder straps and a close fit. The body is knitted from the bottom up in stocking stitch, with a provisional-cast-on option for adjusting the length at the end.

Construction
Knit the body in the round to the armholes, then finish the front and back separately, working flat. Divide the front for the V-neck. Alternatively, begin at the middle with a provisional cast-on and work the lower body downwards once the upper sections are complete.

Can I decide Alice’s body length at the end?
The provisional-cast-on option starts at the middle and lets you work the lower body downwards after completing the upper sections. Allow extra yarn if you lengthen the top.
