Metres are converted from PetiteKnit’s stated quantities.
Before you begin
Make a washed or blocked swatch and check both gauge and fabric before starting. Buy complete balls, allowing extra yarn for swatching, changes to length or fit, and differences in gauge. The metre figures are based on the designer’s quantities, rather than exact measured consumption.
Frequently asked questions
Is Amélie Tee knitted entirely in the round?
The neckline begins in flat rows to shape the opening. The yoke is then joined in the round and shaped with raglan increases; stitches are picked up for the neck edge.
Does Amélie use its stripe colours held together?
No. Knit with one strand of Sandnes Garn Sunday, changing colours for the stripes. Each colour has its own metre allowance; the third colour is optional.
