Anker’s Summer Shirt by PetiteKnit: An adult short-sleeved summer shirt with a ribbed circular yoke and a light cotton-linen blend fabric.
Construction
Knit down from the neckline, working increases through the ribbed yoke before moving into stockinette and raglan shaping. Finish the sleeves in the round; the only finishing is weaving in ends.

Metres are converted from PetiteKnit’s stated quantities.
Before you begin
Make a washed or blocked swatch and check both gauge and fabric before starting. Buy complete balls, allowing extra yarn for swatching, changes to length or fit, and differences in gauge. The metre figures are based on the designer’s quantities, rather than exact measured consumption.
Frequently asked questions
Is Anker’s Summer Shirt made in separate pieces?
No. It is knitted from the top down with a ribbed yoke and raglan shaping, and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finishing is limited to weaving in the ends.
Should I hold Line double for Anker’s Summer Shirt?
No. This pattern uses one strand of Sandnes Garn Line. Use the Summer Shirt’s metre table and gauge rather than the doubled-Line instructions for Alice Top.
