April Cardigan by PetiteKnit: An adult V-neck cardigan with a soft mohair halo and ribbed button bands.
Construction
Work down from the shoulders, using shoulder increases first, sleeve increases next and raglan increases last. Shape the V-neck at the same time. Work sleeves in the round, then pick up the front and neck edges for ribbed button bands.

Metres are converted from PetiteKnit’s stated quantities. Each held-together yarn has its own metre column.
Before you begin
Make a washed or blocked swatch and check both gauge and fabric before starting. Buy complete balls, allowing extra yarn for swatching, changes to length or fit, and differences in gauge. The metre figures are based on the designer’s quantities, rather than exact measured consumption.
Frequently asked questions
Is April worked with standard raglan shaping from the start?
No. Shoulder increases come first, followed by sleeve increases and then raglan increases. The V-neck is shaped at the same time.
Are April’s Sunday and mohair quantities alternatives?
No. Use one strand of Sandnes Garn Sunday together with one strand of Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair. Each column gives the allowance for that yarn; you need both.
