Gauge, needles and accessories
Gauge: 18 stitches × 28 rows in stocking stitch on 4.5 mm needles; 22 stitches × 28 rows in double knitting on 3 mm needles = 10 × 10 cm. Wash and block a swatch before starting, and adjust needle size to achieve the pattern gauge.
Needles: 4.5 mm circular needles (40, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm); 3 mm circular needles (100 cm); 4.5 mm double-pointed needles or Magic Loop; one 3 mm double-pointed needle.
