Cumulus Blouse
The Cumulus Blouse is a light and feminine mohair sweater worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch with two strands of thin mohair/silk yarn held together throughout.
The blouse features a deep rounded V-neck and soft raglan shaping. The yoke is first worked back and forth on circular needles while the V-neck is shaped, then the work is joined in the round for the remainder of the sweater.
After the yoke is complete, the body and sleeves are separated. The body is worked in the round to the desired length, and the sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique.
All edges are finished with i-cord, giving the neckline, cuffs, and hem a neat and delicate finish.
The Cumulus Blouse is designed to have approx. 10-15 cm of positive ease. Choose a size based on your bust circumference and the amount of ease you prefer.
Before beginning your project, knit a swatch to check that you achieve the correct gauge after blocking. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the stated gauge.

Construction
The Cumulus Blouse is worked from the top down. The yoke is worked back and forth at first to shape the V-neck, with raglan increases worked on the right side. The work is then joined in the round and the yoke is completed with further raglan shaping.
The body and sleeves are separated at the underarms, with new stitches cast on for the underarms. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with an i-cord edge with decreases. The sleeves are worked in the round, shaped with decreases, and finished in the same way. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and finished with an i-cord edge.
Difficulty
Intermediate. This pattern includes top-down raglan construction, V-neck shaping, working with two strands held together, picking up stitches, and finishing with i-cord edges.
