A men’s textured sweater with cable panels, a ribbed crew neck and a roomy fit. Work the back yoke in rows, then pick up stitches for the shoulders. The body and sleeves continue in the round, and the neck ribbing is worked last.

Gauge, needles and accessories
Gauge: 18 stitches × 24 rows in the textured pattern on 4.5 mm needles, after washing and blocking = 10 × 10 cm. Knit a swatch in the pattern’s textured stitches, wash and block it, and adjust needle size to achieve the required gauge.
Needles: 4.5 mm circular needles (40, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm); 3.5 mm circular needles (40, 80 and/or 100 cm); 3 mm circular needles (40 cm); 3.5 mm double-pointed needles.
