Sycamore Sweater Knitting Pattern - PetiteKnit
📬 Printed Booklet (Posted to You)
Sycamore Sweater
The Sycamore Sweater is worked from the top down.
The neckline is shaped first by working back and forth. The remainder of the sweater is then worked in the round. The yoke is shaped in stages: first with shoulder increases worked from both right and wrong sides while flat, then sleeve increases, and finally raglan increases.
The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. The asymmetrical stripe pattern is created using short rows, specifically the Japanese Short Row technique.
The sweater is designed with approx. 15 cm of positive ease.
