Anker’s Shirt by PetiteKnit: A baby and child sweater with a ribbed yoke, back-neck opening and a choice of folded or ribbed edges.

Before you begin
Make a washed or blocked swatch and check both gauge and fabric before starting. Buy complete balls, allowing extra yarn for swatching, changes to length or fit, and differences in gauge. The metre figures are based on the designer’s quantities, rather than exact measured consumption.
Frequently asked questions
How is Anker’s Shirt opened at the neck?
It starts in flat rows to make a back-neck opening, then joins in the round. One 12–15 mm button and a crochet hook are needed for the fastening.
Can I choose a different hem and cuff finish?
Yes. Anker’s Shirt offers folded or ribbed edges, so you can choose your preferred finish while keeping the same ribbed-yoke design.
