Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Balloon Sweater sleeves worked as part of a raglan yoke?

No. The shoulders are shaped with short rows, and the front and back are joined to work the body in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round.

Which techniques create the balloon sleeves?

The roomy sleeves narrow towards the wrists. Be comfortable picking up stitches, working small circumferences in the round and following the sleeve shaping, as well as the short rows at the shoulders.
